I was brought on to direct this group in August of 2012, as they needed an experienced musician to help relate to the troupe's members. These extraordinary musicians and performers brought joy and life to each and every show. By the time the show was retired, they had enjoyed a 21-year run, with more than 20,000 performances - more than any other show other than Walt's Golden Horseshoe Review.
We worked passionately to breathe new life into their show, quickly raising our guest numbers from approximately 800 people per day to more than 6,000 people per day, in the span of 8 short weeks. I achieved this by not only creating wonderful new interactive content, but I also featuring the Billies in our Halloween Press Event in 2012, giving them the chance to shine, as I knew they would.
Of all of the shows I've directed, this will forever remain my favorite, as it was an honor to be an integral part of a true Disney Legacy.
